Mauve — A Legacy Woven Through Time

Every legacy begins with a moment. Ours began in the timeless city of Kashi.

During a pilgrimage to the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, our founder, Neetu Singhal, arrived seeking blessings. What she found instead was a calling that would redefine her journey.

As she wandered through the ancient bylanes of Banaras, she found herself captivated by the artistry of India's handloom tradition. The intricate craftsmanship she witnessed—the patience of the weavers, the richness of every motif, and the stories woven into every thread—revealed something far greater than beautiful textiles. It revealed a legacy waiting to be celebrated.

Later, seated on the banks of the Ganga, watching its eternal flow, she experienced a profound sense of stillness. It was there that admiration transformed into purpose. A visit to the weavers' looms made her realize that every weave is more than fabric—it is history, culture, and generations of devotion brought to life by skilled artisans.

That defining journey became the beginning of Mauve.

While its inspiration was born in Kashi, Mauve's vision extends far beyond a single city. For Neetu Singhal, creativity has never been a profession—it has always been a way of life. An artist at heart with an instinctive eye for beauty, she finds inspiration in colour, craftsmanship, architecture, textiles, and the timeless details that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Her creative journey spans fashion, interior design, fine art, and the luxury salon industry, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for aesthetics, quality, and thoughtful design. Every experience strengthened her belief that true luxury is defined not by excess, but by authenticity, artistry, and enduring craftsmanship.
